It is the nature of a mountain
to test
the stamina of the climber,
not the stature of the dream.

"What would have become of the Mighty Hercules do you think if there had been no lion, hydra, stag or boar - and no savage criminals to rid the world of? What would he have done in the absence of such challenges? Obviously, he would have just rolled over in bed and gone back to sleep. He would never have developed into the Mighty Hercules."
_ Epictetus
Perhaps you too have had an experience. Yes?
Harness the experience. Pick any. Pick the one sifting your spirit. Pick the one stripping your soul. Pick one that keeps repeating. Pick any from your life's lush garden of achievements. Pick the one in the pit of your stomach. Pick the one touching your heart. Pick the one nourishing your mind. Pick the one tormenting your thoughts. Pick the one you are still stuck on. Pick the one that tickles your smile. Pick any experience. At random, if you must. Carefully considered, if you can. But harness that experience. Harness it, as an engineer does, who harnesses what is invisible, gifting us plumes of light. Harness the experience. You might be surprised.
Supreme Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg harnessed an experience. Wakanda's Chadwick Boseman harnessed an expereince. Congressman John Lewis harnessed an experience. Athletic Wonder Kobe Bryant harnessed an experience. Poet Dr. Maya Angelou harnessed an experience. Distinguished Global Leader Nelson Mandela harnessed an experience. They lit our world Beyond The Hero. And not only that!
Shouldn't it therefore be that anyone opting for the road of significance first consider wisely which is better: to hide one's experience or to harness it?
Especially if, evidently so, one choice unleashes the power to get from one place to another far better while the other choice hinders and holds. Or does that matter, especially if in either case far too many testable experiences beg questions children are not afraid to ask, vexing questions, rudimentary responses to which wisdom finds too frail to fly from wizened lips; flippant responses which awakened children will never accept even after Herod orders every child gone, mothers' fears shelter theirs frozen far too long, and wombs can never bear again?
Alas, in the mix of it all our universe is teeming with diverse samples of supreme surprises - not magic!
But not all experiences can be harnessed, do I hear you say, and isn't it the case that amongst that celebrated mix we will find the likes of Samson blinded, and Sarah laughing, and poor Job, and what must Abel do, and how will the Mighty Hercules . . . ??
Hold it right there! I see where you're going with this. Methinks I hear you.
True, these are not the times in which the Mighty Hercules thrived, though, then as now, people remain a money market's prime prize - a product, and then is unlike now, for those products there were forcibly bartered into the game while these here are ready and willing, lured by a fluffy flick at fame. Yes, I hear you. There, the reality was shared however rough; here, reality is shredded, full of deceptive stuff. Here, with these manic modes of manipulation, their hydra as fascinating and imaginatively prophetic as it has turned out to be, this present voracious contagion can never be matched by their infantile simulation. Yes, methinks I hear you. Alas, though, this I'll underscore, tricks and trials of all moneyed machineries are every bit the same - peopled. What therefore would a Mighty Hercules do? Nothing! He is a myth. You are real. A masterpiece. So I'll set before you a child's question: how does a flower bloom in frigid places . . . and bear fruit?
