SDS Lens

A lens is a transmissive optical device that focuses a light beam by means of refraction. There are simple lenses (using single elements) and compound lenses (consisted of several simple lenses). There are many kinds of lenses, including microwave lenses, electron lenses, acoustic lenses, and the like. Ours is an SDS Lens.

In this series we are not studying or exploring SDS lenses, we are using each SDS lens as a creative device to focus a refractive light beam on real situations and life impacting scenarios in a focused effort to gain broader, deeper, or other meaningful insights.

Our simple SDS lenses are lust, gluttony, greed, sloth, wrath, envy, and pride. We are looking through (not at) each of these. See what you see.

BS Meter

A meter is a device that measures the amount of something (say gas, water, or electricity) that is being used.

Our BS meters are employed to assess levels of situational worthiness or relative value (or measure of BS, if you will) of particular actions, activities, or orders of conducting business.

The BS Meters used in this series are, variously, lust, gluttony, greed, sloth, wrath, envy, and pride. Apply as you deem fit.
