In this life market, profitable means uniquely beneficial (personally, communally, inter-relationally, in body, mind and spirit).

SCENARIO: In general, we have two eyes, but can't see all; two ears, but don't hear all; one mouth with one tongue - would the better we should quicker learn - from all of telling-and-telling-and-telling, truth be heard, CONTEXT MATTERS, lacking which 'all tellings' are a-lying, so don't let a lie sleep; let lies die a good dying quick, though burial patches are not cheap and memorial's kindness is nuch too sweet to cheat a cock-and-bull of its legacy.
Kris and Taylor are college seniors. They've been roommates since they were sophomores. Taylor's family is split: mother - an immigrant - is on a cruise; father, long out of touch. This is the twelfth year running of Kris's parents' family tradition of a long holiday weekend on their ranch.
Kris's grandma and grandpa (mother's side) have been in attendance six years running, and is expected to be present once again and as bright and cheery as always. Kris's grandparents (father's side) - granny Dee and grandaddy Joey - have not attended since the first gathering.
Kris's eldest brother, brother's wife and their two children will be there like tornados, as always. Kris's sister and sister's husband will be there as helpful as they always are since marriage. Kris's other brother will be attending too, this time with his fiance. Her first! Kris and Taylor confirmed their intention to attend; this would be Taylor's second year as a guest.
As part of their tradition, everyone contributes his or her own secret 'favorite' or 'specialty' dish to the occasion - each and everyone, even babies. Creativity is a highlight! It is a fun and wild experience trying to figure who brought what, and why, and how it was made, and where it would rank in the anals of this family's tradition.
Last year, Taylor's suprise dish was Pigfoot Souse, a Caribbean specialty picked up from a trip to Trinidad. {{ Ingredients: 1 lb pigs feet; 2 cloves garlic; 1 pimento pepper; 1 bunch watercress; salt to taste; 2 cucumbers; 1 green hot pepper; 3 limes; 1 medium sized onion sliced; cold water; and 10 leaves of chadon beni. }} This year, Taylor's secret preparation is Balut (a Filipino and Vietnamese street food specialty). Kris, a fitness coach on the side, is taking Quinoa over a tah-dah surprise.
It is a long drive across two and a half states from the university to the ranch. Kris and Taylor are packed, prepared to leave immediate on Kris's return from work. Taylor is to drive the first shift. Out from the hectic coaching session and in a hurry, Kris noticed two VMs.
First VM. "Hi sweetheart. Good news and bad news! Your granny Dee and grandaddy Joey are coming. Finally. It's got your father on pins and needles. He doesn't want Taylor to come; this is our family tradition. And you know what your granny and grandaddy are like. We are a family. Besides, we can't risk eating another weird dish with pig hoof and whatever other nastiness was in Taylor's dish. No one liked it. It was awful, and I don't feel like having to pretend again that I like something I actually hate. We just don't want to hurt Taylor's feelings."
Second VM. "Kris, your dad wants to be sure you are CLEAR that Taylor is NOT welcome at our family tradition."

To engage profitable exchanges, we have to interact. Interactions are essential. These include interactions with players, processes, relationships, systems and environments. We notice that poor interactions negatively impact all exchanges in this broad market place.
What questions and-or issues arise whenever you are engaged in exchanges specifically intended to profit at a minimum you?
There are many kinds of exchanges. For example, one category of exhanges would include gifts, generosity, kindness, and the like.
What other categories of exchanges are you engaged in or familiar with?
There is, of course, the category of exchanges well known as commerce - buying and selling - the express purpose of which is to gain, to profit, to create surplus. So, here is a question: if the goal is to exchange value for value, where-in is the profit?
We are finding that in places where participants of an exchange lack appropriate understanding of this equation, there, negative interactions and outcomes persist.
