Like any good mother, her desire was to have her child grow bright and bold, and to be full of good humor and wit, and to be generous and courageous and kind.
For, being such, how could anyone not have the most beautiful story?
After all, what is the code and concept of life, of living, of humanity, if it is not to find one's calling and to have that calling be greater than one's self; if it is not to pursue that calling and complete it with joyous self-respect?
Earth is neither a bed of roses nor a thresh of thorns. Our world is chockfull of mysteries. Less of those today than when we first arrived, some having revealed their intimacies (sufficient to our urges and urgencies). To many among us, dust floating beneath a shrouded bed is still an enigma. A wind's whisper can shatter some nerves. Flickering shadows can spawn a shiver of screams. To some others, wonders deep through the black beyond are no mystery at all and any light tossed from the sky would excite curioisty. We live in a world that is not the same to each and every inhabitant, and for many, that is the most frustrating mystery of all.
So - here we are! Hello.
Another new life just lept into existence. Hi. Another just waved bye-bye! Breathe. This moment will never return. Embrace it. Or might it be that it is already revealed in some quarter no moment is gone forever - rather, locked in place for good - available for re-entry at pleasure? Hmm? Another mystery?

Myths are secret codes, emotional triggers, ready narratives spun and spooled to explain, to reveal, to hide, to shield, to shepherd, to shun, to coerce, to teach. Agreed? Myths are fences to lost sheep, footpaths to limping shepherds, kernels of truth, preservers of lies, the shifty shadows of cloak-and-dagger mercenaries roaming hither-thither off of souless seas. Might it be we are living in the land of crocheted myths and unstitched mysteries, our light pointed fiercely toward the sky? Pleading?

"An infinity of forests lies dormant in the dream of an accorn."
Wesley summoned Dreamer. Some folks prefer their mysteries to remain mysterious. They'd rather attribute their strange phenomena to some secret force or higher power or evil or curse, and some will endanger you or destroy you on any attempt to interfere or spoil that intrigue, but not Wesley.
No, not Wesley!
When Dreamer arrived, Wesley had a question, for he was concerned, noting that everyone in his station had diligently done all that was expected in order to enjoy successful missions. He relayed the relevant facts as he understood them.
You see, many expressed grand visions of meeting Destiny and The Dream. And many had genuine concerns about facing The Decider. And Dreamer had said to all of them, "A fruit is only useful to those who know how to use it."
Since that moment lots happened.
Jada, who had assembled an enviable team for her mission, defeated three of The Decider's battalions enroute to The Dream. And is now a superstar, inflluencing throngs of flouncing new dreamers.
Compton (The Invincible Nectar Bearer) has unfettered access, going hither, thither and yon in the company of Destiny and The Dream, with nigh a drip of sweat having ever been spent on The Decider.
O'Shon's battle with The Decider's fiercest battalion was so sure and swift, The Dream looks honorably upon him, and Destiny shines through him.
But Kevin, the lover, still hides in the wilderness.
And Emily is destroyed.
To shape his question, Wesley pointed these facts out to Dreamer, reminding Dreamer of what he had said to them all. Before Wesley could mouth the crucial question, The Tea Lover interrupted, for she had heard it all and percieved the thrust of Wesley's question, and prevailed on him in this manner. "Wesley," she said, "are you Jada?" No, he answered. "Are you Compton - The Invincible Nectar Bearer?" No, he said. "Are you O'Shon?" No, Ma'am. "Are you Kevin, the lover?" No, Ma'am. "Are you Emily?" No, Ma'am. "Are you Wesley, the seeker?" Yes, I certainly am. "Then the only thing that matters now is what you do next, for this is your life, Wesley, only you can live it. You already have your answer: a fruit is only useful to those who know how to use it."

You are valued. You are important. What you experience is important. Your intention matters. You are a whole being. You are a true wonder. You diminish yourself whenever you pit valued elements of who you are against vital elements of who you are: your intuitive self against your intellectual self, your rational self against your emotional self, your gut against your heart against your head. Don't be put at war against yourself: you are a masterpiece. An intricate being. Human!

Back to Life. Back to Reality. Even performing your best life, hazards may come along. And those hazards come in all kinda-forms with all kinda-names. And it is the fool's path that takes no account of it - pretending it away - and it is the coward's way to wall it off in paranoia - seeing hazards everywhere. And sometimes it takes a superhero - a human being - a magnificent masterpiece - an awesome creation - to deal effectively with such complexities. Our superheroes know who they are. Some even come to know why they are called to be superheroes. And some just look in the mirror. Oops! There it is. And some - well - all kinda-hows they come into their magnificence. Our superheroes are not one-dimensional beings. But there is something extraordinary about our superheroes: the moment of decision.
Out beyond ideas of right doing and wrong doing there is a field. I'll meet you there.
When the soul lies down in that grass, the world is too full to talk about.

Across the nation and around the world there is a long rumble.
It is a rumble so loud it strikes ready ears as a distant clap of a fierce thunder. It is a rumble so low, it rides beneath the noise of a thousand human fears; it can no longer be heard. Fear of flight, fear of heights, fear of sand, fear of snow, fear of monsters in the closet, fear of bugs in the pillow, fear of cats, fear of bats, fear of strangers at the door, fear of being lost, fear of being laughed at, fear of being stuck in the toilet bowl, fear of whites, fear of blacks, fear of browns, blues and yellows, fear of nakedness, fear of the unknown, fear of being hurt.
Smile. Live. Love. Laugh. Look. Listen. Learn. Be awesome. You are powerful beyond measure. You are not alone. You can do all things. I am you. You are me. We are one. Keep Sharing.
