Like any good mother, her desire was to have her child grow bright and bold, and to be full of good humor and wit, and to be generous and courageous and kind.
For, being such, how could anyone not have the most beautiful story?
After all, what is the code and concept of life, of living, of humanity, if it is not to find one's calling and to have that calling be greater than one's self; if it is not to pursue that calling and complete it with joyous self-respect?
In the norm, a thing is not full until it is filled, suggesting (a) there is a process of filling and (b) there is a "that" with which the "thing" is satisfactorily being filled. "That" - accordingly of measures deemed essential and sufficient! We say, in the norm, respectfully, not neglectfully, for life is full of exceptions where humor lives large and tragedy thrives.
What are your ingredients for a "fulfilled" life?
Here is a curious tidbit. Can you imagine life during the time when there were no mirrors (or the likes thereof)? Yes, there was such a time - and for a very long time. Imagine then. Roam around there for a bit, trusting your experience will turn out remarkably instructive, benefiting now. And no dentist either! How much of a fulfilled life do you imagine folks of that era were enjoying?
Which ingredients are your unique flavors?
During our exploration of myths and mysteries from the East, West, North and South, we observed unique sets of recurring themes, one of which is a preoccupation with longevity, in particular, living forever. We took note of major impacts three versions of this theme have on the way various peoples seek fulfillment while under the weight of an inevitability - death:
Resurrection - variously, rising to live 'in perfection' after dying
Re-incarnation - variously, returning to life in various forms until perfected
Regeneration - variously, producing offsprings to produce more offsprings
During that process and in sight of a glaring observation made by Winston Churchill, an observation recycled into view like the full light of a lost moon, and with wisdom earned through greater awareness, our mentoring superheroes are rendered that much more empowered and prepared.
Welcome to the eleventh and penultimate episode of Myth Or Mystery - foresight - curated by Neville DeAngelou, there too, where ALL of life is INTERCONNECTED and shining throngs of Olympic Torches relay a joyous light through our Grand Arena - the BATTLE begins.
Life is about living.

Which of your life's joys currently earn the grade: melts in your mouth?
In the toss of many words few perform sweet puppetry in all of us. God utters this word and that word, and we behold wonders. So is heard. And so is said. The mind of a champion, the soul of a hero, the spirit of a believer, the will of a survivor, are swept and swooned into the realms of greatness on the wings of just a few words. Such words are like mustard seeds.
During
this series we are exploring myths and mysteries to peel away practical wisdom without asserting fact or fiction purely to glean what's usable for enriching relationships, confronting challenges, and producing outcomes worthy of the label well done.
As we share real snap stories of our search and findings (in context with our word of the moment), we will encourage each other to select gems from the scramble, thanks to exceptional creators, influencers and producers.
Occasionally we will invite you to score a particular disclosure - myth, mystery, awesome revelation, or pure folly - then to re-examine your evaluation after a period of reflection. At the end we will ask you to put it all together. Then voila!
Enjoy.
"If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader.'"

This episode's word is indivisible: def - "unable to be divided or separated and still be viable; inseparable, a whole unparted." (Which of the world's four most powerful words by virtue of influence would 'indivisible' be considered a derivative of? 50 points.)

Assurance
"An infinity of forests lies dormant in the dream of an accorn."
Like them all, Wesley has intrinsic and extrinsic gifts, and was learning ways of multiplying his gifts, one of which is an ability to summon the wisdom of The Chartered into his presence, assured of their undivided attention. So he exercised it. And traveled there, recognizing along this journey the nature of the challenges inhibiting his crucial move: clashing beliefs, clashing priorities, clashing obligations, clashing counsel.
To his first session he summoned four, and upon their departure took a stroll along Riverside back to the Tea Shop where the season's new sign was now lit: "Life is for living."
Victor Cherbuliez: What helps luck is a habit of watching for opportunities, of having a patient but restless mind, of sacrificing one's ease or vanity, of uniting a love of detail to foresight, and of passing through hard times bravely and cheerfully.
Roberet B. Parker: Well, you give me too much credit for foresight and planning. I haven't got a clue what the hell I'm doing.
David Grinspoon: Humans are possessed, to some degree, with the power of foresight. Yet we so often learn things the hard way, through disaster.
Winston Churchill: Want of foresight, unwillingness to act when action would be simple and effective, lack of clear thinking, confusion of counsel until the emergency comes, until self-preservation strikes its jarring gong - these are the features which constitute the endless repetition of history.
Hmm? "A stitch in time saves nine." Life is for living.
The clock chimes. Then minutes tick away. The clock chimes again. Then minutes tick away. The clock chimes again. Then minutes tick away. The clock chimes again. Then minutes tick away. The clock chimes again. Then minutes tick away. The clock chimes again. Then minutes tick away. The clock chimes again. Then minutes tick away. The clock chimes.
Clarity
"Know what you own. Understand what you claim. Believe you can achieve what you conceive then call it by its name. Mine! The extent to which you have this clarity of mind, this purity of understanding, this strength of belief, you have the fire, the fuel, the impetus, the passion, the determination, the willpower you require to pursue and retrieve your truest desire. But do not claim what does not belong to you. It will not keep you . . . it will suffer you but for only so long."
You are valued. You are important. What you experience is important. Your intention matters. You are a whole being. You are a true wonder. You diminish yourself whenever you pit valued elements of who you are against vital elements of who you are: your intuitive self against your intellectual self, your rational self against your emotional self, your gut against your heart against your head. Don't be put at war against yourself: you are a masterpiece. An intricate being. Human!

Life: it is a dance. It gets better with practice; its music is in your heart and in your soul and in your blood and in your bones. Life; it is a dance. It gets better with practice. You have a partner – your spirit. You can have a party if you like, but choose smartly who you invite, for life – your life – is a dance. It gets better with practice, unless you stop the music or so crowd your dance floor there is no space to move or be moved within it. Explore. Yes, life; it is a dance. It gets better with practice until the dance becomes the dancer and the dancer becomes the dance and life and all of existence becomes a singular flow. Yes, life; it is a dance. It gets better with practice. Dance.

What is your driving narrative? Here are some thoughts. Metaphors allowed. Myth or mystery? Our superheroes, before they became superheroes, recognized, as it were, their riding narratives and driving narratives. Loud gasps. Here, we are not talking about values, beliefs or virtues, rather, those rolling narratives constructing every scene. There is a substantial difference. You have a rolling narrative. M-hm. Your driver! Our superheroes then learned of their capabilites to direct that narrative if they so chose. They discovered the striking power of those narratives. Along the way, they learned how to create meaningful narratives - authentic narratives - during which effort it becomes ever clearer the deep-structure impact of values, beliefs, virtues, truth and lies, (each and all differentiated from platitudes, which are legion) and with that learning came a huge realization: it is not safe to be a passenger in a vehicle where drivers are fighting for control of its steering wheel. That's a vehicle headed for disaster. However, with a good driver that very journey is sweet - even knowing the road is bumpy. What narrative is driving your vehicle?
Out beyond ideas of right doing and wrong doing there is a field. I'll meet you there.

Let us be lovers and loved ones,
The earth shall be left to no one.
Across the nation and around the world there is a long rumble.
It is a rumble so loud it strikes ready ears as a distant clap of a fierce thunder. It is a rumble so low, it rides beneath the noise of a thousand human fears; it can no longer be heard. Fear of flight, fear of heights, fear of sand, fear of snow, fear of monsters in the closet, fear of bugs in the pillow, fear of cats, fear of bats, fear of strangers at the door, fear of being lost, fear of being laughed at, fear of being stuck in the toilet bowl, fear of whites, fear of blacks, fear of browns, blues and yellows, fear of nakedness, fear of the unknown, fear of being hurt.

Standard problem-solving steps repeated: 1) Understand the problem. 2) Devise a workable plan to solve the problem. 3) Test your plan where applicable. 4) Implement the plan. 5) Interpret the results. 6) Use that feedback.
Something else to Consider: Let's say there is a camera capturing the movie rolling in your head this next twenty-four hours - starting now. When it is completed what would be its title? Genre? Protaganist? Vilain? Hero? Bust or blockbuster? Series or sequel? Enjoy your story. Don't drop the baton. Pass it on. - (A Place Called Ah.)
