An Invaluable Gift

The GOOD News: For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world but to save the world through him. THAT'S IT IN A NUTSHELL.

Healed Heart

THE whole chebang IN A NUTSHELL

"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

Nuggets in a Nutshell

Paul formerly known as Saul

“For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God. Not of works, lest anyone should boast."

Watchman Nee

“God never sells anything. Gift means a present one gives to others. God's things are always given to man as gifts. As long as one wants it, it will be given to him. If someone does not want it, it will not be given to him. This is the way with everything that God gives to man."

Dietrich Bonhoeffer

"God loves human beings. God loves the world. Not an ideal human, but human beings as they are; not an ideal world, but the real world. What we find repulsive in their opposition to God, what we shrink back from with pain and hostility ... this for God is the ground of unfathomable love."

Paul formerly known as Saul

"Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me."

Corrie Ten Boom

"When we are powerless to do a thing, it is a great joy that we can come and step inside the ability of Jesus."

James Cleveland

"I love Him tonight, with all my heart, and with all my soul, and with all my strength. I love Him because He first loved me. I love Him because He purchased my salvation way back on Calvary. And I'll say this all the time, 'I'm on my way to Heaven enjoying the trip; I'm having a good trip, and wouldn't take nothing for my journey.' I wonder, have you ever found the need when you were burdened, and there might have been people around you, but nobody that you can talk to . . . and sometimes you have to be still and know . . . sometimes mama is there, father is there, husband, wife is there, children are around, but you can't talk to 'em, 'cause they don't understand the situation. You can't talk to friends 'cause they mean well, but they just have a gossiping nature. Before you can hang up, your good friend called his good friend, and then his good friend called his other friend, and when it gets back to you, you're crushed. And sometimes you just have to deal with Lord in the stillness of your life. We sing a song that says, Anyway You Bless Me Lord, I''ll Be Satisfied. And sometimes you just have to ask God, 'Lord, let it breathe on me.' I'll be alright if the Breath of The Lord would just breathe on me. Do Not Pass Me By. This is kind of old fashion; some of the young folks won't, but some of the old folks might remember the words: Breathe On Me."

Pastor Palava

"The Spirit of the Living God breathed on me. God has me. I have Christ. In Christ I have everything. Everything. Everything. Life. Love. Peace. Joy. Strength. Comfort. All mine. And so Jesus is my pattern. he is the pattern of my ultimate for God; my all-in-all. He is everything. Everything. Everything. Jesus - the Christ - God's greatest gift to me. Undeserved. But grateful. God holds me. My fullness is Him. For in Him we live, and move, and have our being. And in living, Jesus is my pattern."

Jesus, The Christ

“There is a saying, ‘Love your friends and hate your enemies.’  But I say: Love your enemies!  Pray for those who persecute you!  In that way you will be acting as true sons of your Father in heaven. For he gives his sunlight to both the evil and the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust too. If you love only those who love you, what good is that? Even scoundrels do that much.  If you are friendly only to your friends, how are you different from anyone else? Even the heathen do that.  But you are to be perfect, even as your Father in heaven is perfect."

Jesus, The Christ

“Ask, and you will be given what you ask for. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and the door will be opened. For everyone who asks, receives. Anyone who seeks, finds. If only you will knock, the door will open. If a child asks his father for a loaf of bread, will he be given a stone instead? If he asks for fish, will he be given a poisonous snake? Of course not! And if you hard-hearted, sinful men know how to give good gifts to your children, won’t your Father in heaven even more certainly give good gifts to those who ask him for them?

“Do for others what you want them to do for you. This is the teaching of the laws of Moses in a nutshell.

“Heaven can be entered only through the narrow gate! The highway to hell is broad, and its gate is wide enough for all the multitudes who choose its easy way. But the Gateway to Life is small, and the road is narrow, and only a few ever find it.

“Beware of false teachers who come disguised as harmless sheep, but are wolves and will tear you apart. You can detect them by the way they act, just as you can identify a tree by its fruit. You need never confuse grapevines with thorn bushes or figs with thistles. Different kinds of fruit trees can quickly be identified by examining their fruit. A variety that produces delicious fruit never produces an inedible kind. And a tree producing an inedible kind can’t produce what is good. So the trees having the inedible fruit are chopped down and thrown on the fire. Yes, the way to identify a tree or a person is by the kind of fruit produced. "

Bishop Gene Robinson

"It's funny isn't it? That you can preach a judgmental and vengeful and angry God and nobody will mind. But you start preaching a God that is too accepting, too loving, too forgiving, too merciful, too kind . . . and you are in trouble."

Desmond Tutu

"You may be surprised at the people we find in heaven. God has a soft spot for sinners. His standards are quite low.."

All of the HEAVY LIFTING is done. All of it! Done! Done! COMPLETED: God already did it. That's the News: you and I get to decorate and enjoy. Rejoice! "Worry is like a rocking chair: it keeps you moving but doesn't get you anywhere."
Awesome Life Tips
The Bible

"It was not enough to come and listen to a great sermon or message every Sunday morning and be confined to those four walls and those four corners. You had to get out and do something."
