Like any good mother, her desire was to have her child grow bright and bold, and to be full of good humor and wit, and to be generous and courageous and kind.

After all, what is the code and concept of life, of living, of humanity, if it is not to find one's calling and to have that calling be greater than one's self; if it is not to pursue that calling and complete it with joyous self-respect?
To the left. To the right. Straight up ahead. Turn around - a-back of us. Anywhere one may touch in this space, there exists enormous talent. So much of it, no hierarchy of it, a broad spectrum, a stretch of intense curiosity - and - this: a keen eye for the unexpected.
Let me tell the story. Everyone is unshered all but naked into a spring - let's call this first a spring of life - arriving in no singular manner. But welcomed.
This is not your quiet spring; it is teeming, vibrant, because we move in it. Each and every next move is ours. This spring flows outward. Out toward the long side of each flow wows loom large. We're not there yet, but feedback is frequent, and those stir a tingle, a nervous excitement, an eager anticipation of knowable unknowns. Those don't come to us, we go there!
There are other springs. There are intermingling flows. Rapids. Here, some of us are not much more than splatterers sunny and wet; but thoroughly soaked. One might characterize two of seven keen realizations absorbed during this soaking as follows:
we have a firm foundation (an unflappable assurance, a sense of it's gonna be alright; an unchallenged freedom of choice; acceptable acountability; affirmed trust; and ready generosity)
we have a free faculty (it is frequently noted that a solid education is a powerful instrument; wherever that is recognized as a substantial truth and is afforded, able minds are shuttled off to get an education; many shuttered moons later many emerge with certified proof they've (finally) got it - an education, only to be appalled at the vexing discovery of its impotency or limitation, thereafter to realize that the sure power so desired lies not in the sufficiency of a finished education, rather in the efficacy of effective learning, which is to keep learning and unlearning, sensibly, which is free - not cheap - and most profitable.)
Enjoy actionable discoveries continuously shared - smartly - particularly those that uplift, inspire, promote harmony, expand opportunities, exemplify beauty, and reveal wonder, in other words, those proven to strengthen our emboldened exercise of genuine love through all of love's fertile dimensions, supplying those of us who are blessed and inspired to take action with necessary skillsets to be awesome in our real world. Climbing higher, pushing beyond limit, discovering one's fullest capability; these are never achieved staying in the 'known zone'. Step Into The Unknown.
Are we there again? By virtue of popular narratives and revealed experiences, this is what an "alien" might report galaxies far-far away: wholesome possibilities of the peoples of the blue planet coupled with even the most picturesque of human imagination are regularly pitted against bitter forces of human nature abandoned to the most evil machinations of corrupt minds.
Would we earthlings disagree all that much? Aren't we repeatedly challenged by great suffering and injustice? Aren't we continuously buoyed by the resurrection and transfiguration of the human spirit? It is a very familiar story. But not the whole.
There seems a strange twist now though. We might well be more like Baba who those "aliens" know! Baba found himself at the edge of the pristine river beating himself into a pulp, believing (at the reflection from that crystal flow) that he was in fact justly punishing his father. When Baba discovered himself horridly wounded in that fight, he licked his wounds, soothing himself, believing (by the sight of that very blodied visage) that he was being restored to wholeness by the healing love of a forgiving grandmother.
Familiar? That was at the dawn of a new era.
It does appear that at the dawn of every new age this rumble by the river is exponentially multiplied - not only in our narratives - and that somehow some are able to escape the crunch, ride those rapids into the unknown where new hope thrives. Because it must! For, guess what? There too, where the unknown is known, thunder rolls and lightning claps! There too goes the human soul - body, mind and spirit in tow - sometimes intact. And that too is alright.
So, how did those get over?
They are built for it! This - our flight into a phenomenal new age - that vast unknown (created alike as is every other creation known) - has already begun. Our challenge enroute to the new blankness is this: to fear or not to fear!

It is quite primitive to percieve of power as brute force. The more desireable value within civil communities is finesse - an everlasting quality - intricate, refined, delicate. Penetrating. A gracefulness. A lightness of being. It lifts us above commoness. It inspires wonder. It requires flexibility. It attracts. It recommends itself naturally without pretentiousness. It is an earned quality learned through practiced precision. It is bettered given rhythm and time. It breathes the character of the giver. It's invaluable.
Intelligence, agility, reliability, trust and resilience - all of which are fine elements of flexibility - are essential qualities regardless of endeavor - each portable and profitable - none of which is a one-time-know-how-for-all-times skill. Each delivered iteration is its own execution. There is much about each that bespeaks equally of one's nature as it does of one's deportment in moments of performance whether inside or outside of the arena. Therefore, it is bettered when learned, tested and made achievable across the harsh cold slipperiness of one's terrain, where the requisite combination of desire, determination and drills breed confidence. You gotta love it enough to want to do it. Again. And again. And again. And again. Oh, and yet ten thousand times more agains. And love it as would a teenage lover. Indefatigably. Flexible is its name! This is within you; it can be you. You are a masterpiece. When you are in the long game you gotta have it all in you.
