SLIP LADDER CHAMPIONSHIP CHALLENGE Rules & Guidelines: these guidelines are intended as a framework for competitive fair play, sportsmanship, genuine flexibility, and total fun. We want to Do ALL we can to keep it that way. Cheers. |
- Challenge Matches are best of 3 sets, the third set being a 10-point tiebreaker, i.e., the first player to 10 points with at least a 2-point advantage wins.
- Upon completion of each match, submit match results (i.e., players, score, winner) to Coach.
-
A player may be in receipt of challenges from multiple players within his/her reach, however, NO PLAYER is allowed to issue multiple challenges simultaneously. An issued challenge must be competed or vacated before another challenge is issued. Therefore, a player is not to issue or play any challenge that would result in escaping (whether intended or not) the reach of a challenge already in receipt.

HOW TO REACH THE TOP TWO RUNGS
-
PLAY & WIN matches against players occupying rungs above or below you. Play as many matches within the TROPHY SEASON (UP to JUNE 16th) as is necessary to climb to the top and stay at the top. (See Rules & Guidelines).
-
HOW LUCKY ARE YOU? Step in time onto one of three shifting lucky rungs during one of the three designated lucky dates which will be drawn by a contesting player mid-season and you will be awarded with that number of 'free/lucky' jumps up the ladder. JUMP. Fun-Fun-Fun! BEWARE, though! Win that lucky jump you're likely to be heavily challenged for that spot. (See Game Rules & Guidelines).
HOW TO BE THE 'LUCKY LOSER'
-
Players win matches and points while climbing (See Rules & Guidelines).
-
The player with the highest number of points, who did not climb onto Rung1 or Rung 2, is the lucky loser and will earn a spot for the BATTLE at the TOP of the Mountain.
