When you fast, do not be somber like the hypocrites, for they disfigure their faces to show men they are fasting. Truly I tell you, they already have their reward. But when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face, so that your fasting will not be obvious to men, but only to your Father, who is unseen. And your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

BREAK-FAST - Today's sunrise was quite special, like a desired promise, like new birth, like our first New Year in Paradise! A sparkling spring of hope! Like my first kiss. Unforgetable. I had a feeling this is the day we would meet AP aka Incredible. I was excited.

On return to base camp there were splashes of evidence everywhere: AP must have visited. Had to have been there. Coffee! This was real coffee. Perfected coffee prepared like a tease - steam issuing from a black pot. Oh, that aroma! Arise. Awake wide-eyes. That is how it seemed and I don't even drink that stuff. I turned and there it was - a flowering kettle of rejuvinating tea leaves; an anticipation of zen. Then - oo-la-la - a breakfast-spread fit for kings and queens and me. What a morning! Honey-dew. A gentle breeze. It all inspired a fresh new-mind spread of conversations. We were expectant.

Did you know that breakfast is actually the word for breaking one's fast? Did you know that for proper maintenance of a wholesome body and mind, breakfast is the most important meal of them all? It'll perk you up. If you weren't perked up already! It is best when precisely designed to fit that role! Who knew? Did you? After a timely cleansing which apparently a fast provides, our body, mind and spirit are primed for renewal! So pump it up! Break that fast. Make it right. Hmm??? So much was happening in my body and my mind and my spirit while I was fast asleep. Who knew?

Well, that was a wee-bit of what arose from our morning's spontaneous discourse. Whether it was AP or the Chief Chef or somebody's grandma that left us a most delightful breakfast, we were pumped. Never been more ready for a quality search, for a hunt, for a quest. AP, where are ya?
