As is diversity, CURIOSITY is one of three principles on which human life flourishes.

“Listen with curiosity. Speak with honesty. Act with integrity. The greatest problem with communication is we don’t listen to understand. We listen to reply. When we listen with curiosity, we don’t listen with the intent to reply. We listen for what’s behind the words.” 

Quite curious, isn't it, who said each of those!

Perhaps we need to let go of something in order to fill our lives with something new, something fruitful.

Freedom is in peril wherever curiosity is squelched. Who is it that doesn't want you to be curious: totaliitarian regimes, people who have something to hide. Ignorance killed the cat; curiosity got framed.

Being fully functional and wholly human!

Curiosity is the best remedy for fear.

As with confomity, Ignorance is anathema to a flourishing life. Absent curiosity, by whatever metaphor or logic one chooses to employ, the outcome would be no different: our specie would have remained naked in the garden and be extinct within the first millenia.

I grow ever more fascinated by divine wisdom - how awesome we are created, how magnificently we evolve. The wonder of it all is endlessly thrilling.

To see and hear and feel and touch and taste, oh, how even these alone fuel imagination, expand horizons, wash away the stains of ignorance, shrink the shadows of fear, and reveal the glory of God.

If your imagination is still alive and flourishing, invite Adam and Eve to your next dinner party or a walk through the park or a drive along the sea shore or a flight to your secret escape and have a talk; take a peek through their eyes and let them take a peek through yours. Discover! Act upon that discovery.

The more open we are to the sacred marvel of our being, the sharper the contours of 'the enemies' of our existence become.

Of necessity 'the enemy' attacks curioisity and diviersity, two of three essential elements of a flourishing life. Our enemies use mis-direction and lingering ignorance to stir up fear and to coopt our ardent participation in our own physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual demise. It is 'the enemy's' prized accomplishment: to turn you into the enemy of you!

With all eyes on deck, and hearts and minds engaged, when every eye and ear and tongue and skin and nerve are welcomed equally to be awake - behold magnificence - enemies shrink; their shadows disappear.
